 John, Mary  …..

Marriage is an act of faith and it is a personal commitment, as well as a moral and physical union between two people.  Marriage has been described as the  best and most important relationship that can exist between two human beings:  It is the construction of their love and trust into one single, growing, energy of spiritual life.   This is  a commitment that requires, and deserves, daily attention.   John, Mary:  The journey you have begun is a life long commitment to the ideal of loving kindness.  Your success depends solely on your will and desire  John , and your will and desire Mary , to make your Love grow and last.

John and Mary have a special gift they would like to give to each other now

(Best Couple places rings in Ministers hand)

May these rings be blessed as the symbol of this affectionate unity.  (Minister offers rings to couple, continues after rings are placed)  John, Mary:  Your two spirits are now joined in one unbroken circle.  Wherever you go you will always return to one another in your togetherness.  You will continue to find in each other the love for which all men and women yearn;   You will  grow in understanding and compassion.  The home which you have created together will be a place of peace and security for many, as well as for yourselves.  These rings you now wear are a sign to the world, and to each other, of the spirit of Love that is in your hearts.

John, Mary :   In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord & Savior…..

I now pronounce you Husband and Wife.

John, you may kiss your bride.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am happy to present to you Mr. & Mrs.___________
