Do you think historic literature reviewed over the centuries by numerous scholars can now be referenced as a source or only tangible artifacts?
In my opinion, any information obtained from the distant past can be misinterpreted, misunderstood or a clever hoax. However, I think that any information should be considered for the purpose of learning or for building a case for evidence to prove a point. Needless to say, just because one considers information, does not mean that they must accept or believe all of it. Artifacts, as well as the written word can be influenced by many factors. That doesn't mean that we should "throw out the baby with the bathwater". The more information that is reviewed, read and considered in any way, shape or form, the better!
