The early church was growing so fast that the Apostles could not handle the daily running of the Church. They set up the system of governance to help the early church run smoothly and continue while the Apostles were away starting other churches. The Apostles were like the first missionaries, they started the churches in large cities that excepted them and then trained others to take over the leadership and running of the church, then taught more missionaries to go out to the smaller cities. But they were the heads over all the churches and kept in constant contact through the letters to the churches.

The charismatic offices and administrative offices were the two branches of the church. The people of the charismatic offices guarded the truth of the Gospel and its proclamations. They were chosen by Christ through the Holy Spirit to become leaders of the church. The administrative offices were chosen by the people of the church, these different offices helped run the administration of the church.

The early church met on the first day of the week in homes mainly and read scripture, prayed and sung hymns. They had a set way of doing things to keep the service orderly. Also by doing a orderly service, they could go from one church to another and everything was done the same was.

They could mingle with pagans as long as they stayed away from e moral or Idolatrous thing. Christians were good Romans, as they abided by the Roman laws as long as they didn't violate the laws of God.
