Master of Christian History - Lesson 2

Jesus was a real person, we know this because there are history records to prove He was real. Jewish Historians, as well as Roman and Greek Historians have written about Him. The Bible is His Story, the Old Testament tells of his creation, and telling of His future coming: the New Testament tell of His coming and His life and death.

If we open up our hearts and search we can find tradition and stories of Jesus life that is mentioned in the Bible. Such as “ The Traditions of Glastonbury”, by Raymond Capt. This small book covers the years of Jesus as about 13 o4 so traveling with His Great Uncle, (Mary’s Uncle Joseph of Aramathia), to Glastonbury, England where his Uncle had tin and copper minds. His uncle was a very rich tin and copper merchant for the Rome and Jerusalem and near east. ((By the way you will not find this in the Bible, this is in other research I have come across.)) Joseph of Aramathia is machined in the Bible as giving his new tomb for the body of Jesus after he was crucified. Only Jewish Genealogies and other sources show that he was a rich merchant and being one of the Sanhedrin; he had homes in Aramathia and in Jerusalem. After Joseph the earthly father of Jesus died, somewhere after Jesus and Mary went to the Temple when Jesus was 12 with him, Joseph of Aramathia became the Kinsman Redeemer for Mary who was a widow. You can find the Genealogy in Ancestory.com for your self if you are interested in researching more for yourself.

Jesus, Himself is well documented in the New Testament through, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Even through Paul never met Jesus while He was alive, He met Him on the Road to Damascus. Paul was led by the Holy Spirit from that point on. Jesus was teaching Peace and Love instead of rebellion. He was trying to teach Love was the way to bring about the Kingdom of Heaven.

Since Christ Jesus is the Beginning of Christianity, we cannot have a Christian fellowship without Him. He sets in each of us Love. If we love Him we try to live according to His teachings. If we Believe He is the Son of God, and God came to earth in Human form then we must believe His Holy Spirit leads us in our daily life. If we do love Him we will seek all knowledge of Him. There is much written besides the Bible.

The vote was cast and the triumphant defence established. The amazing fact is that out of the seventy-one legislative members of the Sanhedrin, forty voted for the dismissal of the case and the freedom of Jesus. This was not to be. Foiled within the Sanhedrin, Caiaphas played a trump card which he knew could not be vetoed. He demanded that Jesus be tried before Pontius Pilate, the Roman Procurator of the Roman Province of Palestine, on the charge of treason.
